Description

Converts Captions in your Final Cut Pro Project to Titles.

It uses one, or more, titles as a template. You can use:
* any built-in Title (static or animated), or
* those from third party designers, or
* your own custom title created in Motion,
as a template to animate your Captions into Titles.

In Final Cut Pro, set the font, size, color and any animation. This Title, with these settings, will be used as a template for the closed Captions when they are converted to “open” Titles.

Ready
Add Captions to your Final Cut Pro Project.

Set
Add one or more Titles to your Project to use as a template. Fine tune the color, size and animation in each of these Titles.

Go!
Drag the Project to the captionAnimator Workflow Extension, choose the Titles you want to use for templates, and click Go!

In seconds you'll have a new Project in Final Cut Pro with all your Captions as Titles.

If you choose 2 or more Title templates, they will be used in order. (For three Titles they will be used as Caption 1 to Title 1, Caption 2 to Title 2, Caption 3 to Title 3, Caption 4 to Title 1, and so on.)

Existing Titles in the Project are returned untouched.

Animation is optional and depends on the Title used as a Template. Most have optional build-in and build-out animations.

"Angie & Abigail" was written, direct and performed by Marlon Braccia: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0102674/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1

MAJOR Time-Saver!

Apple *could* build this in, but it hasn’t. There are alternatives, but they are time-consuming and they don’t let you select from built-in titles you’ve set up as templates! So, in spite of it being a bit pricey, I’m in! It makes my workflow better. It’s easy. It’s well-implemented. The creator has been around for a long time and is vetted by people I respect. They’re still supporting SendtoX! I bought that what…10+ YEARS ago?
